Nic Cage November - The Old Way

The Old Way is so close to being amazing. I almost loved this movie. The premise is really interesting; Nic Cage plays a sociopath (or at least a near sociopath), who more or less unravels when his wife is murdered. And, his sweet little daughter is also a sociopath (or at least a near sociopath). That is a damn good premise and not one I've seen in a period setting. The script isn't quite sharp enough to achieve brilliance, but the concept is there, and that's more than enough for me.
