Hello, everyone! I am excited to announce that I have officially relaunched my Ko-fi page! On it, you can see WIP's of my artwork as well as fully finished drawings. You can chose if you would like to donate any amount or buy a commission. The money will go directly towards supporting me and my artwork. But please remember that my artwork will be visible to everyone, not just to those who donate/get a commission. I will NEVER lock my art behind paywalls other than commissions, of course. (Unless you are ok with me posting them once they are done.)
You can check out my page here: https://ko-fi.com/samdrivingblind

My irl friend Sammie just lost her father unexpectedly. She is devastated and now left with funeral expenses, legal fee's and bills for his house. As of right now she is 76% of the way funded. If whoever is reading this can donate any amount-big or small- it will help her get closer to her goal. If you cannot donate, may I ask that you repost this campaign so other's may see it and possibly donate? Thank you in advanced to all who do either.

Happy new year everyone! I hope you all had a great day last night and today! Expect a lot more art this year from many different fandoms. I'm excited and I hope that you will all like what you see!
Much love,

Hello, everyone. I regret to inform those reading this that on Monday, August 4th around 8pm my dad passed away from stage 4 nodular metastatic melanoma cancer, a rare form of cancer. He had been suffering through it for 2 years. It spread rapidly throughout his body and there was nothing more that could be done to help him. In his final weeks he had a fantastic hospice team and his whole family taking care of him into his final days, where he could no longer walk, talk or do anything on his own. He passed resting peacefully and without pain.
It took me this long to write this because I was actually in a psych ward since last Sunday evening due to feeling suicidal. I saw my dad the day before and it just broke me. Matt drove me to the hospital and I was admitted. I am very thankful that when I heard of his passing I was already in the psych ward, so I had a team of doctors and nurses who were there for me when I needed it most. The patients were also so kind and caring to me. I received the therapy and med changes that I needed, and am better mentally now. Still I miss my dad with every ounce of my being, but I know that he is out of pain and in a better place.
On a happier note, my dad's last wish was for his body to be donated to science in hopes that it could be studied so maybe there could be answers found to why this type of cancer exists, or perhaps one day a cure. He is currently being studied and used in classes at Wayne State University. My grandparents received a lovely letter thanking them as my dad for their generosity and contribution to science. He always said how he wanted his life to have a meaning, and now it is: he is helping to educate future generations. What more of a meaning to your life could you ask for? 😄
Thank you, dad, for always being there for me. For making me laugh constantly, for supporting me no matter what I wanted to do, for giving me an amazing childhood and making me into the video game and comic book loving nerd that I am today. The world lost an amazing person. Fly high. 💜
My laptop is currently getting fixed because on Sunday night it decided to corrupt the hard drive for literally no reason and made it completely unusable. It kept blue screening and then saying that the hard drive couldn't be found. I did a bunch of command prompts and nothing was working. I was crushed because I was working on a drawing that I am so proud of and now it was gone, along with photos of my mom and previous artworks. It sucked to because I only got the computer 2 years and a couple of months ago, way too early for something like this to happen I thought.
But today I got some amazing news-everything was salvageable and is being copied back into my computer! :D
I have been so stressed and nervous about it. Losing all of those things would have taken a high toll on me, so to say that I am happy is an overstatement! I am also getting a new upgraded hard drive (a terabyte as opposed to 128 GB!) for a really great price! The owner of the store said that it should be done by tomorrow or at the latest Saturday. I haven't drawn anything since I took it in. I'm looking forward picking up my pen and starting again!
I am so thankful that everything has turned out much better than I originally thought. But let this be a PSA to everyone: ALWAYS BACK UP EVERYTHING ON YOUR COMPUTER because you never know when you'll randomly lose it all. Don't be like me!! xD
