Shinka

Shinka is a Cursed Spirit born from the Negative Emotions of people who died in a Hospital due to a mysterious Curse-related Illness. Shinka is a Special-Grade Cursed Spirit who behaves like an Insect in many ways despite his intelligence.

Shinka's Cursed Technique is named Monarch. It gives him a variety of insect-like powers, such as clinging to walls, shedding his 'skin', flight (via his wings), and producing Silk incased in Cursed Energy. He can also lay eggs that incubate Shikigami he can control, though they take several days to hatch, and the Shikigami aren't any stronger than Grade 2 (Though rarely he can spawn a Grade 1 Cursed Spirit).

Shinka's Domain Expansion is named Evolutionary Chrysalis. It forms a nigh-unbreakable shell around Shinka's body that absorbs Cursed Energy around it, and funnels it directly into Shinka. After a long amount of time, his body will undergo Metamorphosis and evolve into a much stronger state. Both its strength and duration depend on how much Cursed Energy was absorbed. After it deactivates, he can't use Cursed Energy for a period of time.
