Latrodectus hasselti. She most certainly have caused latrodectism, if she' bitten me, despite the fact she still has her baby colours of black with brown and white stripes, and only her shape and the pale hourglass on her underside (visible in shot) gave her away. And I didn't even see the hourglass until after I got the photos home - adult red-backs are usually noticed for their elegant black colour and bright red stripe down their 'spine'
