Professional comic book inker for over 26 years. After the DC Reboot a bunch of us got 'the boot.' I am retired now.
I won the inking category of the original OFFICIAL MARVEL TRY-OUT CONTEST.
Series I've worked on include: ANIMAL MAN, S.H.I.E.L.D., ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN, SUPERBOY, THE FLASH, DOOM PATROL, BIRDS OF PREY, SECRET SIX & TEEN TITANS. Huge Beatles, Badfinger & ELO fan. Also big fan of Cheap Trick, The Zombies, The Move and Jeff Lynne. Collect a lot of stuff (old toys, action figures, lunchboxes, comics, Beatles...). Married with two college graduate children.
ORIGINAL ARTWORK from DOUG HAZLEWOOD - - MONEY ORDERS are always A-OK (as long as they are legit). If you write a check on Wells Fargo I could cash it locally the same day if received on a weekday. Otherwise checks can be a hassle and I prefer not to accept them most times.
If you want to pay via PayPal, I prefer for folks to pay via PayPal 'Friends/Gift' payment to save me the fee, but it is not a deal-breaker. In some cases I will absorb the fee, split the fee or ask for you to pay enough to cover the fee. Anyone who can save me the fee I will include extra signed comics as a thank-you. On international payments via PayPal most folks are given the option to pay 1% on their end to save me the fee (paying as PERSONAL/GIFT). I wasn't aware of that till a UK customer told me and paid that way (thanks!!).
Shipping domestically is generally $11 for Priority uninsured (double-boxed). First-Class International for Canada should be $15 since rates went up. On pricier things I can check FedEx and a business address is generally a better deal (no surcharge from FedEx) domestically. International actual shipping plus $1 handling.
