not gonna do the usually " I will be more active here starting now" bit. only cause it may have been jinxing me...

that, and with DA changing in ways that I don't care for (not gonna specify *cough*the AI "art" debacle *cough*) I don't really want to use the site as a whole.

I still have a bunch of people here whom I consider my friends ^^ (though, with how little I post, you guys may not see this.... or even know I'm alive...) and I may reach out to them if I find the time.

but either way, I will update a little bit about what's happened in my life since the last "I'm BACK" journal.

1. my son, Kyson, turned one years old, and he's doing well, he will be 2 in february (yay terrible twos)
2. in august last year I found out I was pregnant again~ and in april I had my beautiful daughter, Bonnita~ she is 8 months old as of this journal ^^
3. due to having 2 kids under two, my art has been a little slow as of late. I still enjoy drawing, and hope to keep it up. but man, am I tired sometimes.
4. I was promoted at my job from cashier, to ART DEPARTMENT HEAD!! So, I oversee the art and hobbies sections, make purchases for them, and keep things running in those areas
5. tikes and I will be celebrating our 7th year anniversary in june~ thankfully our marriage is still going strong
6. we had to sell our house, sadly. the mortgage took a big increase due to the house's insurance premiums going up (for what reason, I don't know. what I DO know is that we couldn't afford a $960 house payment, on top of utilities, medical bills (from having the babies) and food for everyone. we now live with my mother

and that's about it. everything else should still be the same as last time.

in a way, I do really miss the interactions on here, most notably with friends. but, we all get older, and more busy. I don't blame anyone for moving on, and probably even forgetting about me. I will be trying to check back here more (key word, TRYING) so feel free to reach out if you like~ I don't bite

yeah, I know you guys (or, those of you that'll read this) have heard this before...

"I'll start posting again!" and "I need to be more active here"

well.... a lot has been going on in my life that's let me forget about these sites (FA, DA, and such)

1. I've moved mostly to telegram (a messaging site, like messenger, with a little bit of a discord vibe) I have an art chat on there (https://t.me/TattasRatNest) and most of my commissions come from there. soooo I tend to not have much of a reason to remember DA and FA exist ^^;

2. with my full time job (still working at Hobby Lobby) I tend to get caught up in real life stuff... you know, standing.... cutting fabric.... more standing.... getting yelled at by rude customers etc

3. (the BIGGEST news) I GOT PREGNANT!!! yes, @Tikes-tastic are having a kid (as of typing this, I'm due to have him any day~ yes, it's a boy~) so THAT has taken a bit of a president over my time, and will continue to do so from here on out. this came as a big surprise to us, as I was told by 3 Dr.s that the possibility of getting pregnant (let alone carrying the baby to term) would be near impossible~ but I guess God had other plans ^^


"what's the point of this update" you ask? well.... I DO plan on trying to remember to post... as I now have a heavy buffer of art (from my.... YEAR of inactivity ) while I won't be posting my stream times here anymore (it's just too much for me to remember, between all the social media I use....) BUT if you watch me on twitch, or picarto, then you will get notified then~ (I'm "TattaDoodles" on both streaming sites by the way)

my plan is to try and remember to post 3 pics every week. not a lot, I know, but I have to start (again) somewhere~

yeah I uh.... I'm much more active on telegram art chat as of late...*cough* https://t.me/TattasRatNest *cough*... but I'm still doing a ton or art

and that basically means I have TONS of stuff to post but I um.... yeah I forget...

and now I'm trying to get a website up so I need to make these accounts (DA, FA, and weasyl) more active...

so ART INCOMING!! (starting around 5PM CST) but I have it spaced out, and after this big post I'll try to upload 2-3 pieces every sunday

I had a foot injury last year, and I'm having surgery for it next month

oh yeah I started getting into the monster hunter franchise (generations ultimate, monster hunter world, and soon monster hunter rise are the 3 games I play) so that's a thing....
