There has been an exciting development!
A couple of months ago, the folks at Chaosium Inc. [ http://www.chaosium.com/ ], the publishers of the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game, confirmed their desire to publish The Call of Cthulhu (for beginning readers). When I received word I immediately began revising the now almost two-year-old text and illustrations to ensure that the print version is of the highest possible quality. I am currently about a third of the way through this process, and thought it would be good time to let you all know that the oft-requested dead tree edition of this story looks like it is actually becoming
Thanks to the many people who have taken the time to check out my art over the past few weeks, and especially everyone who dropped a comment - it is always very much appreciated.
Earlier today I noticed that a lot of people were stopping by to take a look at this:
I wasn't sure where the traffic was coming from, but was happy to have it.
I later discovered that BuzzFeed had posted an article featuring 25 pieces of good Dexter fan art:

I figured that the article must have been the source of the traffic. When I took a closer loo
Eight months after it was originally begun, _H.P. Lovecraft's The Tomb (for beginning readers)_ has reached its conclusion, and we must bid a fond farewell to young Jervas Dudley. To those of you who stuck it out with me, thanks for your patience. Thanks also to io9 for once again letting the internets know what was going on over here.
I'm getting all excited about Dagon now. After a year of the same illustration style, I'm looking forward to trying out something new. If I could change your mind, I'd really love to break your heart.
Take care of yourselves, and be excellent to each
You may have noticed that I have finally come back to H.P.Lovecraft's The Tomb. After many months of uncertainty I think I've finally rekindled the desire to get this done (a small voice in the back of my mind constantly reminding me, "Finish it - Dagon is next!" probably had something to do with it). Thanks for your patience, one and all!
Anyways, I finished writing the rhymes a few weeks ago, and have been working on the illustrations to bring us back to the place where we left off last time. These are now up, and I'm hoping (not promising) to complete a page every other day. Of course, sometimes these things encounter some dif

I must say that I quite like the new Imax Prometheus poster > http://collider.com/prometheus-imax-poster/170455/
Great minds think alike. :)
Take care, and be excellent to each other.
Whew. The revisions for TCoC (for beginning readers) are now done. I thank you all for your patience while you had to sit through the same thing, but over again. As always, your words of encouragement dragged me through it, and ensured that I would get it finished.
Highlights for me during the last couple of months have included getting a mention on Kevin Smith's podcast, being tweeted by Mark Hamill, and having a chance to explain the process of creating TCoC on GeekDad. As you can imagine, it has all been very exciting.
With any luck, you'll get to see what's up next very soon. I am, right at this very moment, working on the cover im
So, the Call of Cthulhu (for beginning readers) made it to the promised page 50. Thanks to everyone who faved and commented and generally made me feel awesome about what I was doing.
During the production of these "first 50"(as I like to call them) I received a number of offers from folks who would like to publish it for you all, and I'm hopeful that one of these offers is going to work out. If it doesn't work out, I'll start looking down different avenues so that folks can eventually get their hands on the dead tree edition that so many have asked for.
In the meantime I've been revising many of the pages, with a particular attention bein
News reports that "The Call of Cthulhu (for beginning readers)" has concluded are premature. I'm expecting it to end on page 50.
"There Goes A Gozerian, Ghostbuster!" was just a little something to clear my mind before the home stretch.
There has been a significant number of requests for prints of some the stuff I have up on here.
I'll try to make these available to you as soon as possible by uploading some higher-res files (and figuring out how the whole prints thang works 'round these parts) when I get a spare second.
Please forgive any delays - the Call of Cthulhu is taking up almost every spare minute I have at the moment. I even hear it in my sleep... sounds something like... "fhtagn".
Allow me to once again offer all y'all my sincerest thanks for your encouragement, praise, and advice. I can feel the love in the room - and the love feels good.
Just a quick note to let folks know that more Call of Cthulhu pages will be up shortly. I have returned to my mild-mannered day job this week, so I have had to momentarily turn my attention to a classroom full of screaming teenagers.
Lovecraft fans truly are some of the best people in the world, and your encouragement has been awesome - so as I say, the adaptation will definitely continue.
Have a good one!
Well folks, it looks like it's finally happening (in time for the festive season, even): H.P. Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu (for beginning readers) - hardcover edition.
Howdy! Just wanted to offer my thanks to all (and in particular my 4,900+ (!) watchers) for 500,000 page views. Regardless of what that actually means in the grand scheme of things, it is nevertheless very gratifying to see that folks are intereste...

My apologies for the lack of any updates of late, but after several months of sleepless nights right at the end, and three years in the making, the revised H.P.Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu (for beginning readers) was completed, and sent to Chaosiu...
