Staring out from behind a dream In search of my inner self Clocks, cogs and gadgets, tinkering ticking Thinking over, a forgotten past moment Times lapse, frozen in the still of frame Eyes focused engaged in the shift of movement Moving without motion Momentary madness, envelops the darkness As a key turns inside a lock, and a world is released Hidden away, inside out, outside in Gears and cogs shifting, tuning over into overdrive Overlapsing, entangled, labyrinths, mirrors Mazes and reflections in the midnight sky At polar opposites, increments, counterbalance Pendulates on the return of swing Colors in the black Bursting balloons On a knifes edge, cuts the light Escaping gravity, reality, evades the night Hollows escape, skeleton cross, ivory key Bullets with wings, a feather, a scholar and a quill Taken aim, shot down in flight
