Absolute Solitude

This is where I spend most my time. Less than a 2 minute drive and I'm in paradise. I absolutely love the beaches along the East Coast of Australia. Most afternoons I head down to an empty coastline, not a soul on the beach. This is why I love photography, the solitude.

Brilliant. The more I look at your gallery the more I see that I like. I understand exactly what you mean about finding yourself in this sort of place. When I was studying I used to drive about 30 miles to find a really quiet beach when lectures were over for the day, then I'd walk till there wasn't enough light. Used to do the same thing when I was teaching - end of the day... show me the beach! I can't think when surrounded by people rabbiting on about "small things." I love people in small doses. My professional work is all about helping others overcome their fears. Time out is invigorating for me. I love the desert, the bush, the coasts!

hiya, before i comment i wanted to tell you i just added you
90% of my deviations from AUSphotography has been from you
so... woah
i love it
the colours are nice and striking, they just jump out to me
although in my opinion the sky seems to dull the over all impact of the photo,
it by no means kills it.
i love the "woosh back" effect.
or possible forward, i cant tell
Slow shutter speed or a filter? either way its great
i think my favourite part is the sheen over the sand, its as if the water isnt there
sorry for my not such a great comment, its hot over here!
anywho, great work
