Penciller: Keith Pollard
I remember buying Fantastic Four #200 as a kid, so imagine the thrill I experienced knowing I would get to ink the penciller of that landmark issue, Keith Pollard! For a time, Pollard was a utility man working on lengthy runs of big books, like Spider-Man, Thor and FF. Imho, he was the next best thing to John Buscema as far as Drawing Comics The Marvel Way at the time. The "Richards!" comment was added by me in a fit of inspiration. When doing this commission, I poured over FF #200 to emulate inker Joe Sinnot as best I could. Looking back, I would have done something different with the fade on the cape, maybe more black folds that had long tapers stab into them as Sinnott would.

The rendering on the metal looks particularly, well, metallic!  Nice work, it can be fun to look over old stuff and see progress!

Thanks, Justin! I really went for the old-school 'Marvel Style". I'm a huge fan of Joe Sinnott, who was never given enough credit for maintaining high quality during the Bronze Age.
