I have recently realized that I do not update very often at all. I want to make it clear that I log in every single day. But I don't utilize journals very frequently at all, and I am so very busy with school and &*#@ that I don't have much time for art. And trust me, this makes me feel a huge influx of melancholy. I am working on some projects, however. And by "working on," I mean "working on when I can wedge in an hour between classes to draw a couple of outfits in Flash on the occasions when my tablet is actually working." For these reasons (and others that I shall not mention here), I am slogging away on my current projects very, very slowly. Additionally, I am still in college AND just got my first job. I'm doing medical transcriptions for a psychologist doing evaluations. Until a couple of days ago, I was working and going to classes five days a week and volunteering the other two, but it is FINALS WEEK AT LAST, meaning that I'm going to get a bit of vacation until the first week of April! WOOT! Doesn't mean I'll be getting to the projects on my plate, but it does mean that I intend
to! and that's something, right?
] At long last, my Yotusba dress-up has been completed and uploaded! As you can see if you compare the flash ( dreamsprite.deviantart.com/art…
) with the preview ( dreamsprite.deviantart.com/art…
), I had to make some major layout changes. But I'm okay with the changes. And I am surprised that the flash hasn't been as popular as I had hoped it would be, but whatevs.
] I am working on a collaboration with
. It is a Final Fantasy-themed dressup! We're about 3/4 of the way done... Unfortunately both she and I are procrastinators, and I'm not mean enough to constantly demand a kind young artist to get to work! I haven't heard from her since New Year's or so, so I'm not exactly sure what is going on with our project, but it is safe to say that it is stalled for.... quite some time. get back to me please please
Therefore, I'm not sure when it'll come out (and I'm not even sure if, when it comes out, that it will be posted here.) In any case, look forward to it. It'll be great. Trust me on this one.
] The process of revamping the Di Gi Charat dress-up was going well, until school started up again. It's been sitting on my desktop, and I have tried to make time for it every day. I am definitely making progress on this one, but it's still a slow process (largely due to my having one day per week when I can squeeze in a couple of hours to work on this project). However, it is my priority at this time.
] THIS JUST IN:
I have rediscovered a childhood love... Code Lyoko! It is my burning brain's intention to create a Code Lyoko dressup! It had been on my mind for about two months now (ever since I got access to Code Lyoko on demand! WOOT!), but I had been unable to until now, since I didn't have a scanner. But I took my first paycheck and bought a bunch of video games (including two Code Lyoko games) and a new scanner! still need to buy a new tablet, tho, because my old Wacom is on its last legs but fortunately is still working
] I have created a flash map of the Dungeons & Dragon realm that I have created in piecemeal over the last few years. The Realm of the Living Diamond is something that very few people outside of my D&D group would care about. I'm considering posting it, but I'm still not sure...
] I've decided to do a dressup/actionscript tutorial. However, it is on hold until I finish the other things on my plate. It seems like there are a lot of dressup tutorials, and I'm not sure exactly what I would have to say that hasn't already been said. My one idea is to take a walkthrough approach with step-by-step instructions. sounds kinda like Flashkit, don't it...
