Sketchbook Shiz: The second wave part: 1 by DreamCentral Sketchbook Shiz: The second wave part: 1 by DreamCentral
Hello guys! Yep, decided to give this random crap another round. I still don't have any reason for doing this I'm just bored, it's summer, I'm feeling spontaneous. And honestly, this is kinda fun, so yeah. Prepare for the second wave, soldiers.

This is the sketch of a watercolour painting I did for art class a few months ago. We were doing this thing where we were giving Disney movies a steampunk look to it, and I chose one of my all time favs, Beauty and the Beast.

Good god, looking back at this is such a try not to cringe challenge I'm failing hard. I used to be so bad at drawing humans-she looks like a friggin alien! Her face, her limbs, it looks so weirddd.

Well, that's one of the reasons it's good to draw a lot. You are constantly developing and getting better, so in a matter of months you can go from...well, this, to something way better. I'm not trying to sound vain-I really think I've improved since I made this. Escaped the uncanny valley, and now I'm always working my way up the mountains and getting better. That's how art is-there isn't a point of perfection you're meant to reach. You're always growing and changing and improving. You can just choose what you're satisfied with when you feel like you're at a good point:)
