Concerning this photo, there are a few things that I think this photo does well.
One, the photo connects the viewer with the subject with good eye contact. Two, the photo is exposed well and has a good amount of detail. Three, the photo does a good job of showing the subject in its natural habitat.

Improvement can be made in a few area of this photo by, cropping some of the out of focus branches above the subject as they are distracting. This pertains to the long horizontal branch at the top of the photo. Isolating the subject in a photo is key to the impact that the photo will have.

Overall this photo of the rabbit in the snow is good. It has good impact with subject connection, and retains many key technical standards, such as exposure, sharpness, etc...
