M.Metal Knuckles fue creado por el M.Dr. Eggman con la mision de destruir a M.Knuckles, originalmente seria el mas poderoso de la toda serie Mecha y para lograrlo Eggman le implanto los estilos de batalla de cada uno de los Guardianes que ha existido, recuerdos que obtuvo a traves de M.Spectre cuando fue capturado durante la Destruccion de la Isla Angel, pero algo paso, M.Metal Knuckles se volvio contra el, libero a los Guardianes y protegio a los equidnas, en vez de maquina de matar se creia un Guardian mas que debia proteger la Esmeralda Mayor
Segun M.Edmund los recuerdos con los que Eggman le programo de alguna manera le dio a M.Metal Knuckles un corazon, veia a los Guardianes como sus Maestros, a M.Knuckles como hermano y a los equidnas su gente...y al final se convirtio en miembro de la familia, sobretodo con Kneepcaps ya que cuando los dos estan juntos son el duo de alborotadores (como los gemelos Weasley) por eso M.Knuckles los llama \"Tweedledee and Tweedledum\"
