Ratchet and Clank Meet Star Fox The Star Fox team had received a message from General Pepper.
"Star Fox, the planet Kerwan is under attack by the villain Dr. Nefarious! We need you to rescue the citizens."
"We're on it," Fox said. Meanwhile Ratchet and Clank were battling Nefarious's army of robots.
"Try all you want, you'll soon meet your end, Ratchet and Clank," Nefarious said.
"Yeah because that worked out the last several times you tried," Ratchet replied. Ratchet and Clank were blowing up robots when something caught Clank's attention.
"Ratchet, we have company."
"Now what?" Ratchet and Clank looked up and saw Star Fox. Star Fox started firing at Nefarious's robots.
"Wait is that Star Fox," Ratchet asks. Nefarious growled and made his escape. Krystal sensed this and contacted Fox.
"Fox, Dr. Nefarious got away. On the upside though Ratchet and Clank are here. They will be of great help." Fox ordered everyone to land their Arwings. Star Fox approached Ratchet and Clank.
"That was cool, thanks for the assistance," Ratchet said.
"No problem Ratchet," Fox replied.
"Unfortunately Dr. Nefarious escaped," Krystal said.
"That won't be an issue. We've beaten him several times, we got this," Ratchet said.
"This is our mission too so how about we work together," Fox suggested.
"That sounds like a great idea," Clank said. Dr. Nefarious made his way back to his lair. He was furious about what happened out there but he had a plan.
"If Star Fox is going to get involved, then I'll just have to hire Star Wolf to ANNIHILATE THEM!!! Nefarious sent out a contact to Star Wolf.
"What do you want," Wolf asked.
"I have a contract for you Star Wolf. You want to be rid of Star Fox. I want to be rid of Star Fox, as well as a few other pests."
"How much are you willing to pay for our services?"
"How does a million space bucks sound because I don't think you'll take bolts."
"You got that right. We'll take care of Star Fox and the other pests. Just be sure to have our payment." Ratchet, Clank, and Star Fox were on board the Starship Phoenix. They were meeting with Captain Qwark.
"So you're the famous Star Fox team. I've heard a lot about you. You're definitely impressive, not as impressive as me but still," Qwark said. Falco rolled his eyes at that statement. "If you're going to be here, you're going to be temporary members of the Q Force!"
"The Q Force," Falco repeated.
"A team of heroes led by the greatest hero in the galaxy, me! Now let's get a move on. I'll show you to your quarters."
"Is he often like this," Falco asked Ratchet.
"All the time," Ratchet replied. During their time on the Phoenix, Star Fox was getting acquainted with some of the other members of the Q Force. Fox made friends with Skidd while Slippy bonded with Al. Krystal ended up running through Helga's fitness course and was exhausted afterwards.
"Well you certainly performed better than those two slackers Ratchet and Clank," Helga said. Krystal giggled before getting a drink of water. Fox had a question for Ratchet and Clank.
"How did you two meet anyway?"
"Clank crash landed on my home planet Veldin. I found him, fixed him up, and the two of us have been friends ever since," Ratchet said.
"There was a time where we weren't friends. In fact, Ratchet and I hated each other for a while," Clank said. "You did?"
"Yeah, I was kind of a jerk back then," Ratchet admitted. "How did you become leader of Star Fox," Clank asked.
"Well my father was the leader of the previous team and I followed in his footsteps. After my father's death, I got together with Falco, Slippy, and Peppy, and remade Star Fox."
"What about Krystal," Ratchet asked.
"I saved her from being trapped in a crystal on planet Sauria and she took Peppy's place so he could retire." Captain Qwark called everyone to the bridge.
"I give you my brilliant plan! First Ratchet, Clank, Fox, Falco, and Krystal will take out Nefarious's robots. Slippy, you're with Al. You two will disable the security system. I will confront Nefarious and defeat him once again." Everyone gathered their weapons and headed for their ships. Along the way to Nefarious's lair, they encountered Star Wolf.
"Wolf!? What are you doing here," Fox asked.
"Isn't it obvious Star Fox? We were hired by Dr. Nefarious to get rid of you, all of you."
"This wasn't part of the plan," Qwark said.
"Well then time to improvise," Clank said. An intense battle broke out. Ratchet and Fox went after Wolf. Falco and Leon circled around each other and fired.
"I'm sorry about this Krystal. It's just business," Panther said as he fired at her ship. The battle was a stalemate for the most part. Nefarious was monitoring the whole thing from his lair. Qwark managed to land a shot on Wolf's ship.
"You three go on ahead! We'll handle things out here! That's an order Cadets," Qwark said to Ratchet, Clank, and Fox. They entered Nefarious's lair while the others dealt with Star Wolf. As soon as Ratchet, Clank, and Fox landed, they were immediately surrounded by robots. They started battling their way through robots as they made their way closer to Dr. Nefarious. They eventually confronted him.
"Ah the famous Fox McCloud. You're much more of a hero than that imbecile Captain Qwark. Your resume is on par with Ratchet's. I can't have that." Dr. Nefarious started to battle Ratchet, Clank, and Fox. Nefarious surrounded them with several clones of himself. They swarmed Ratchet, Clank, and Fox. Ratchet, Clank, and Fox weren't going to back down though. They fired at the clones, destroying them. Nefarious started shooting lasers which Ratchet, Clank, and Fox dodged. Ratchet and Fox fired at Nefarious. Nefarious took damage but wasn't going down. Nefarious started firing lasers again. Fox blocked them with his shield while Ratchet landed more shots. Nefarious ran towards Ratchet and tried to fire at him. However Clank jumped off of Ratchet's back and punched Nefarious with a nano-fist. Nefarious was sent flying back and lost consciousness.
"Well that takes care of him," Ratchet said. Meanwhile outside, Star Wolf had been forced to retreat for now. However it wouldn't be long before they encountered Star Fox again. Nefarious was placed into a cell specially designed to hold him. Captain Qwark was being interviewed.
"It was all thanks to my brilliant plan!" Falco once again rolled his eyes.
"Let's just get out of here." Star Fox left the planet while Ratchet and Clank waved goodbye.
"It was nice working with them, wouldn't you say Clank," Ratchet asked.
"Oh absolutely, I look forward to seeing them again," Clank replied.
