So, for several months now; I've had commenters asking questions all along the lines of 'How's Fiona Frightening coming along?' And it's only after a lot of thought, soul searching and attempting to contact folks involved with no response, that I have to announce this.
As of now, according to my knowledge, development on Fiona Frightening has been halted indefinitely, if not permanently. Now I'm going to be utterly transparent with you guys, we hit A LOT of stumbling blocks when it came to producing the demo we planned to do. It almost ALWAYS came down to hiring a programmer, them doing nothing for several months, and then jumping ship despite the money to pay them being there on the table, hiring another programmer, only for the same to happen again. so every so many months we'd be right back at square one.
Now though, I seem to have lost contact with the producer of the studio I was working with to make the game and haven't heard from them for several more months. So at this point, I think it's fair to say to project was in development hell so long that I can only assume people lost interest and it wasn't worth all the work and investment up to that point.
So I'm sorry to all the fans who were looking forward to the demo and eventually the game.
But there's some good news here; no contracts were signed yet, so as far as I'm concerned, I still own everything I made for the game (The characters, story ect) So maybe not now, or any time soon, but in some future when maybe I have a bigger name... coughcraftycough... I can do SOMETHING with all those characters. No idea WHAT just what yet, but I don't wanna let them all go to complete waste. I still have a lot of love for the characters I made for the game, and I know you guys do too.
So I hope you can understand the position I've been in for over a year now, and I deeply apologies to all of you who were following along the whole way.
