It's funny how most people say back to the past, I've asked and been asked this question many times. Why wouldn't more people want to go to the future? We know what happened in the past, if only vaguely. We have no idea what happens in the future, yet. Of course, I guess if you go back to the past then you know what happens in some future heh. Maybe more people are afraid of what they will find in the future because it's new and unknown and we fear what we don't understand. If it were up to me I would go to both, but I'd wanna see the future first. I really have been asked this question many many times so I've had plenty of chance to think about it. Lol..
i'm more afraid of going to the past because a good amount of the things i know doesn't exist yet wanna hear that song that came out on 2011? too bad it doesn't exist yet, wanna talk with that friend oh too bad you haven't meet yet and you probably wont because you're in a different time line assuming you're the same age but x years in the past
the future on the other hand hands a lot of possibilities you could just go fast forward on a time when whatever thing you always wanted is a reality i mean a lot of the stuff we have today were dream futuristic ideas decades ago, that new artist you like now has a whole collection of albums that you can hear whenever you want either that or finding the world even more fucked up like a wall-e future
That's exactly why I'd like to go to the future. Although going to the past shouldn't effect your timeline up to the point where you leave it unless you change things when you go to the past, but it might just turn out to be an alternate universe or something. Paradoxes get kinda wild in sci fi. And yes, I've been watching too much Doctor Who I like that you asked this question.
