Any updates on a drawfest discord? I'd really like to try and connect with some waikato people and get some events happening here, but I've got no clue how to. dA seems a deadzone, and all the art discords I belong to none of them have ANY kiwis except me. It's lonely out here!

Drawfest is very active on Facebook now days. The traffic on Deviantart became silent so I stopped updating Auckland information and events, and I think the other mods did too. Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch can be found by searching "(city name) Drawfest" in the search bar on Facebook. We'll be more than happy to welcome you into the group

The Facebook group will have event announcements. I'm currently looking for a new organiser for the meet ups It may take a little while before it happens due to earthquakes, but once its calmed down, I'm sure we can get a meet up happening!

Are there any resources on getting printing done in NZ? I've been looking at options (children’s book, landscape, full colour) but cannot figure out what the best option is. Has anyone in NZ done a kickstarter for getting items printed?
I'm feeling quite lost as shipping seems to be a big stumbling point - even for individual works of art in physical form.
I'm also curious about printing posters, stickers etc - what do you guys do when you go to Armageddon as far as printing goes? About the only place I can find seems to be Vistaprint, and the prices they charge plus shipping works out to what I think would be a retail cost not a wholesale one.

Alrighty so the closest advice I can give to printing is either overseas like Vistaprint or Artscow - and for posters etc. it be The Big Picture and 3A Printing in NZ. For T-shirts there is Print Mighty in NZ. For local merch, you'd have to look into it for now.
