He's got time to grow into a different mindset, especially being pushed into speed events rather than the reining future his breeders and previous owners had intended him for. It has given him the skill set to be quick on his turns and able to go from a dead gallop to a scramble around a barrel or pole. Being so low to the ground makes him aerodynamic.
