Home Grown Show - RESULTS!
Follows after: Take Everything (NSFW mature content warning)
Brief summary if you don't want nudes: Jarin and Tristan "played" in the bed sheets. 'nuff said.
This was fine. Tristan said it was fine. It couldn’t be wrong. What would Jarin know? He lived under a rock as far as relationships went. Tristan said it was fine and he trusted Tristan. It was fine to be in his bed right at that moment. It was fine. He let it all happen. Jarin could have said no. He could have run away screaming. But who could resist a force like Tristan?
Jarin sighed quietly, the stress of sneaking around the barn, risking being spotted by Sydney on the trail when he was told to stay away from Tristan, shopping like they had all the money in the world, the delicious food, that cake…hmmm Jarin wondered where his phone ended up. He should at least check on Sydney…he hadn’t talked to him all day and Jarin was leaving to visit his friend in the morning...
Jarin looked across the room for a moment, “Tristan, I was gonna tell you...that...somethin…” but Tristan's warmth and smooth voice had his eyes drooping shut already. He was so warm. He never knew how warm. He sighed and laid his head down, telling himself just a few minutes until Tristan was asleep and then he could check with Sydney. Just a few minutes…so warm.
Jarin went limp in Tristan's arms. He signed off for the night in seconds. Sleep came so naturally to Jarin, it was almost unfair. It was the one place where he knew he didn’t have to think or stress over life. It was even better next to a warm body just like Sydney's that Jarin snuggled into.
Tristan smirked, more than happy to let Jarin just head off to sleep, snuggling into his side. Whatever it was that Jarin wanted to tell him, he was sure that it could wait until the morning. There was hardly anything that important in Jarin’s world. Probably saw another “cute” horse. Ah well, Tristan settled and started to drift off to sleep. He was only a few breaths away from falling asleep, when suddenly it hit him what he had done.
Oh god.
Tristan’s eyes shot open, but he didn’t move away from Jarin, for fear of possibly waking him.
Oh god.
What had he done? How long had he been broken up now? Hardly long enough! And here he was, co-ercing Jarin around?! What the hell?! Of course Jarin was going to go along with it! It’s Jarin. How the fuck could he let himself do that?! He covered his mouth with one hand to muffle any noise as tears sprung to his eyes without warning, taking a shuddering breath.
Fuck!
Was this who he was? Just drop the last person and move onto the next?! Jarin had wanted to say something to him and he’d just completely ignored him? And then gone ahead and had his way with him! He knew that Jarin had some weird morals going on… and sure, he’d seemed to enjoy it. But it was Jarin! Tristan knew he had a hell of an influence over him, Jarin would damn near do anything he said.
And he’d just taken advantage of that!
Well… there went any chance of Tristan ever getting some sleep, forced to lie there until morning, wallowing in his own guilt. Maybe this was why he and fiance had argued so much in the first place; was he actually just disloyal? Perhaps that was the cause of this. Maybe he simply was a bad person. He’d not deserved his fiance, and so he’d just gone ahead and tried something new. Fuck.
He was up and about before Jarin had even had the chance to move, that morning. And honestly, he hadn’t tried to wake him for several hours, unsure of how to even approach the topic of what had happened the previous evening. He gave a sigh.
Best to just get this over with.
He knew, from past experience at XFS, Jarin did not wake up easy… apart from the alarm on his phone. Tristan took the phone, barely alive, off the sideboard, he set a quick alarm and set it next to Jarin’s head. The next thing Jarin knew, was a moment later his phone alarm was blaring in his ear.
“Come on, rise and shine.” Tristan tried to make his tone as normal as possible. “Get ready.”
With that, he was out of the room again, grabbing his jodhpurs and a polo, really uncertain of what to even say to his student at that point.
This was why he was here in the first place, honestly. Why he made the decision to pack up everything he knew and jump into another country, a different stable, a different life. He was the one who’d given up on who he thought he had loved. Not the other way around.
Disloyal.
What had he done?
Tristan swung a leg over Abe, taking up his reins. He collected the stud up, analyzing his responses to his cues. He had done good work to get Abe in decent shape by now. Still a far cry from where he should have been to begin with. Apparently, Jarin had been ditching Abe for western lessons.
Tristan narrowed his eyes. He didn’t know what disgusted him more: Jarin, wasting time on western horses around that stupid hick, no doubt, Abe being treated like some trivial commodity, or himself for what he had done.
Abe wasn’t dull, per se. Tristan wouldn’t let the stud get away with pretending he didn’t know better. Abe worked hard under him. Huffing and snorting. The grey stud bunched up, carrying his stocky build like he was made of paper, floating over the grass. His hooves fell with purpose, a precise placement decided by his commander on his back. It was a good performance. Certainly pretty enough to pass for the exhibition class to represent RidgeRunner’s standards. But Tristan knew it wasn’t a great performance.
As he walked Abe out to cool him off and let him catch his breath, Tristan’s phone buzzed in his pocket. He dragged it from his pocket, nonchalantly looking to see who it was… Jarin. That’s right. He had gotten back sometime today from visiting his “friend” or whatever. They still hadn’t talked about what they had done. Tristan knew he couldn’t avoid him forever. He hesitated for only a brief moment before finally swiping to answer the phone.
He didn’t have to speak first, Jarin said it all for him:
“Please, I’m sorry, I’m sorry! Please stop! Please-”
Then he heard a loud bang and the line went dead.

that's a fun count : O
Take Everything(NSFW mature content warning) <---- Previous || Next ---> Nothing But a Dreamer
Hallo~
Look, a digital~
: D
and not jax.
So, working on story bits. I didn't have to make a whole piece for this little bit of the story. But. I wanted to. Because I like to poke and prod at how characters think and act. Now, I'm just renting Tristan out but I do enjoy poking at his brain. The poor guy just recently broke it off with his fiance. Came off from bad arguments and started his new career at my stable. Poor lad. He just wanted some...company?
But he knows what he did wasn't really...well, it FeelsBadMan in his mind. In RP world, this was only 3-4 days after breaking up and moving in. (I'm just really fackin' slow at everything I do.) So I left it vague in this story but it hurt him a lot more in RP land :''D
Oh, and Jarin? Well, -shrug-
This piece was fun to start on! I had the brain image picked out and scribbled down some fun colors!

Well, you can see most of it stayed the same xD Sorta kinda. The vision did anyway. The halfway point was...gnarly. But we got through it xD
So like, lowkey, I created the whole Home Grown show to kind of give myself the motive to work at this and make it look nice. Even though I'm not competing against anyone, it was nice to have that drive to want to give it a good go! (And now I've decided to come up with a couple more to give him some competition because why not? lololol)
CREATIVE FREEDOM IS NICE. YOU SHOULD ENTER AND TRY! FUN IS NICE.
