Stand Alone Journey

Whoossshhhhhhhhh.

Dag lowered his muzzle to the curious waves lapping up on the beach. His nostrils quivered with caution, unsure if these waters could be wholly trusted just yet. Some waters were violent by nature, pulled him away from the shore, cast him out into the ocean, currents churned underneath his legs, and dragged him under. He didn't fear the water. He respected its unwavering nature.

He snorted loudly and plunged into the next wave coming for his legs. He squealed and bucked, sloshing the water in every which way! He plopped down and gave a mighty roll, coating himself in sand just for the next wave to crash into him and wash it all away!

Oh, how he wanted to become like water! Do what he so pleases and go where the banks couldn't hold him! He was free and couldn't be commanded! He jumped up and leapt over another wave, diving underneath the surface, rolling with the flow of water, letting the current pull him away from the beach. He loved how it was eager to take him and then push him back on shore again. He played this back and forth several times, nickering and whinnying when he came up for air.

Don't leave! He galloped after the water as it started to recede more and more from the beach. He lunged into the waters again, unaware of the changes he was undergoing. With every brush of water over his coat, another spine, another web of fin, another chunk of his tail falling away, Dag started to become one of the water's creatures. The water was shaping him as it did all of the features it touched over time. How it could turn a mountain into a canyon, a city into a leveled field, it was turning Dag into a form that would suit his desires. He'd be free to come join the waters, swim the seas, explore the depths. Into the water~

A little break from SERIOUS and into playing with pony ideas~ I've got a cute idea for him once his learns the necessary spells! Right now, he's aspiring to become FISH horse~! His name is like angel of fish or something lololol He's having a great time lol

I was going for more of a wacky perspective but I lost it and did not care to try and yank it back. Just for funsies, I hate using this style for water, I am poo at it, can't say I learned a damned thing, but this isn't about me. It's about Dag having fun in the water~ One step closer to his final form!
