Shortened Backstory:
        First born son to Dave Burton. Being the older of the three kids, Chris was expected to help look after the kids while Dave was out on the circuit to earn money for the family and their mother was working as a nano-biologist to do the same. He got to start riding with his father pretty early on until he got into a terrible accident, shattering his femur, breaking a few ribs, and a finger as an 8-year-old. Helena, his mother, decided it was far too dangerous and didn't let the kids ride near as often and certainly not competing with jumps. And thus began Chris's rebellious streak.
        Chris is a natural leader when he needs to be, having taken the responsibility to look after his little sister and brother. He's actually quite smart and can remain calm under stress. Not much riles him with his resting IDGAF face (which is his honest emotion 90% of the time). As he further rebelled against the constraints from his parents, Chris started riding in secret, at first, while they aren't around so he could start taking titles. By a twist of fate, it landed him working under Tristan Ennerstone.
        Since then, he has acquired his own horses after his father found out about him galavanting without permission to use Dave's horses. He's since stuck to his own horses, his own time, and his own success. He has no intention of slowing his progress of riding, being very close to flying from the nest, despite his father trying to mend their broken bonds.
