I don't comment much (not least because by the time I get there, anything I could say has already been said), but I really love your work. As well as having a really great style of art, your pieces always seem to drip with atmosphere.
Then thank you for making an exception and passing comment on this I appreciate the remark - I try to get some sort of atmosphere or at least a 'feeling' into my pictures, otherwise they just end up feeling a bit dead on the page.
It depends what I want to achieve. For controlled lines I prefer to use dip ink (eg. Deleter ink no.1) with a dip pen like a g-nib (this sort of thing: www.dinkybox.co.uk/Deleter-Nib…). For free-flowing lines like the shadows on the eye and large dark areas I used FW Acrylic ink with a brush - just put a drop or two on the paper then used the brush to spread it along to create the lines. (if that makes any sense).
