"It has been nearly four hundred years since first contact between the Illarians and Draconians.
Almost four centuries since the dawn of unending bloodshed.
The future of these two disparate peoples rest on the shoulders of the greatest commanders of the age.
The Illarian Crown-Prince, Lucien of House Senus, feels the weight of his responsibility to his predecessors both living and dead;
and his benevolent heart struggles against the warrior’s blood threatening to consume it.
The Empire’s people look to him to conclude the war his father began, and become the greatest Conqueror in
Illarian history, while political adversaries watch eagerly in the hope he will fail - and the the millennia long legacy of his House with him.
Opposed to him, the enigmatic Draconian Grand Marshal known only as ‘Crimson’ wrenches impossible victories from the claws of defeat, in a
fight for survival that he fears will outlast him in the end; battling both the inexorable march of his aging body, and a foe that will outlive
him by centuries. A strategic prodigy without peer, he knows he must conclude the conflict before his time is done, lest his
inevitable death spell the final hour for his embattled species.
Ideologies clash and the destinies of two cultures come together in titanic battles that leave even the stars themselves scarred,
as immense warships trade blows in the skies above contested worlds. Countless lives have been burned in the fires of war, with countless more yet
to come, in a conflict that has spanned the life cycles of generations. In this darkest of hours, the galaxy’s hope will be born from a dream of peace,
shared by two most unlikely allies.
For both know what waits if they should fail:
The end of all things, and a Galaxy drowned in fire."
