Hi there!

I'm  Dragoon, a digital artist based in India. I like to paint, read, listen to music and learn languages.

I started my journey with digital art when I joined online artist boards (i.e. "forums") around 2014. My work gradually transformed as I worked along with fellow artists in online art collectives. My early large-scale work around 2016 mostly made use of the 'pentool' in Adobe Photoshop to create vector art. However, it also incorporated brushwork and other effects, which made it a sort of eclecticism between vector and painting. Please refer to the piece Ryu Ansatsuken (2015):

From 2018 onwards, he shifted almost completely to digital painting. My work's theme has since revolved around imaginary natural environments, animals, real-life experiences, and game/novel-based characters (i.e. Kvothe from Patrick Rothfuss' Kingkiller Chronicle). Through my work, I intend to provide an opening to a world different from that of everyday life, one which would make one want to dive in for an adventure or a moment of relaxation.
