[PR] Buried Sanctuary Part 2
The shadows stretched across the floor of sunken ruins, the sunlight far above just barely reaching into the depths. But even that was nothing against how heavy the very air was, full of dust and decay. It filled your lungs and made your eyes tear up.
Fafnir coughed and squinted up towards the opening far above them. Nightshade beside him had landed on the ground and was resting their wings, a smart choice he had to admit. They would both most likely need all the rest they could get before going into the temple itself. Fafnir could just barely make out the darker spots in the walls that were the tunnels into the earth, but Nightshade had said they were there and he trusted his companion. He was not looking forward to this but he had promised he would do it and he would not back down on it. Nor did he want to let his friend down either. So even if the dust irritated his throat and eyes he would join the mothim and journey further into the darkness.
