My name is Ben. I've had an interest in making comic books since I was about 11.
I've been drawing since I could hold a pen, but I didn't start drawing people until I was an adult. Sometime around 2009ish I decided to finally take the ideas floating around in my head and flesh them out into comic books, so I buckled down, learned to draw the human face and figure, and set out to write and storyboard everything.
It took a while to get the first two issues out there, because I do literally every job; Artwork, story, character design, lettering, I even buy the barcodes that go on the front... I also had to let one of my ideas bubble to the surface.
I started Dragonspit Publishing not just as a platform for my own work, but to sign other artists, writers, and creative teams. The goal is to eventually expand into animated shows and movies, action figures and collectables, the works. And most importantly, to put great content out there without compromise. None of the watered down, big corporate trash that happens when you let Hollywood touch something.
Thank you very much for the fave and for the watch ^^
