The things you find when you google yourself... :rofl:

For the record, despite how mad plagiarism makes me (and it makes me SO MAD) this doesn't bother me. The entire comic is already available for free online. They didn't remove my name from it, nor (I'm guessing) the website URL from the pages, it's just...what? Is this is a thing? Why is this a thing?

And why this comic? I can't imagine it gets them much traffic. The only people that'd be looking for it are people who already know where to find it. And they took vol 1 of all things (AKA the garbage years)! Good luck with that, guys. Just...I want to understaaaand. It's so random. I don't think your scam is working. You might try stealing, like, stuff that's good, you know? Not bottom-of-the-barrel stuff.

Just...why? :lmao:

So weird... XD but also kind of like... flattering? maybe? XD;; like as long as they're not profiting off your hard-worked IP.
Also hey you got ranted four stars, nice.

I gather you did not see a cent for your service from these people.

Can't you do something like youtube does and ask these people selling your comic to send you the money since you are the author?

Might be that someone passing for you told them that THEY were the author and these press companies did not know better.

Thanks!

Yyyyeaaaah, that's pretty weird. But it looks like they aren't getting a profit from it? And your name is still on it, so that's cool. And it looks like a few people have actually commented on your work on those links, so that's also cool. IDK that may be the weirdest and most innocent use of one's work by another I've ever seen. ^^;

I hadn't noticed comments, but after you mentioned it I went to look - they posted my sister's review from GoodReads!
So not only did they go through the trouble to get the book, they also apparently did a separate search to find the GoodReads review and post that too? ...to give it legitimacy, I guess? I'm so confused by all of this, but I guess I admire the dedication...kinda? ...maybe? :confused:

All I can think is maybe they just wanted content - ANY content - for their site and took whatever they could find, and then maybe they'd make their money off subscriptions or ads?

It's also amazing that this happened not once, but for three different sites (and one of them posted it twice for some reason?)! :shrug:

I think I'd be madder about it all if it was a comic I knew was the primary source of income for the creator. Though it is a bit galling to think that this thing that has put me a couple thousand in the red might be making these people money, I doubt it gets them many hits, so it was effort for nothing...that said, boy is it bizarre...
