aaaand that's the straw that broke the camel's back, folks! i have 0 issue with AI art in concept. i think it's fun and you can get some pretty stuff out of it. imo the best way to use AI art is as inspiration. like the artists who'll take a minecraft screenshot and then paint over it. good for skipping the concepting step and getting right to the fun stuff. not sure about using it for anything besides for fun, but that's a grey area and i find myself largely neutral about it. it crosses a line severely though when the art being used by the AI wasn't actually given to the developers to use. it'd be one thing if this was opt-in, i wouldn't care in the slightest then. the fact that you not only have to opt-out, but that the only WAY to opt-out is to go to every single deviation and manually opt-out one-by-one, is atrocious. if it'd been opt-in, i might've actually allowed then to use my stuff (at least, the stuff i created entirely myself for myself), but as it stands. im opting
