apple for Teacher
This cake was commissioned by Squires Kitchen Magazine to celebrate World Teachers Day and World Apple Day.
It was for a "how to" article and they wanted a cake in the shape of a large apple.
So, the apple is nearly a foot accross!
As it is a relatively simple cake, I decided to base the article on how to carve cakes into a shape and cover unusual shapes.
The article will be in Cakes and Sugarcraft magazine, out in October.
