The past few days I've had the absolute Joy of dealing with a 'Professional' CG artist in a FB Group, who seems to have issues with watermarks on artwork. To 'prove' his point he took my most recent render, posted, to the group and removed the watermark. He then reposted the altered image in the comments under my original post to (in my eyes) boast about doing it. He doesn't think he did anything wrong and took offense that I called him out about it...
This has since degraded into him throwing thinly veiled insults at me. Yeah... real professional.
I do this for fun. If you like what I do that's fine, if you don't that's fine too... Just le
So much for the concept of IDIC 'Infinite Diversity-in-Infinite Combinations'.
Trigger Tots are such slaves to 'canon' (I hate the word!). I posted the image this morning of the USS Constellation, here and on FB and people are losing their minds because I didn't use the 'canon' number for the Constellation (NCC-1017). Instead I use a list from The Starfleet Museum website (NCC-1710) that made more sense to me, but no one has read my description and keep banging their 'Trek Bibles' chanting "Canon IS Canon!"
Maybe I should make less starship art make more CGI Porn.... or better yet CGI Star Trek Porn... hmmmm
Boy what a week.
To start off I get, not 1, but 2 snowflake goons coming at me in 2 FB groups over, not what I posted (artwork), but over my Profile image, which features a Confederate Battle Flag in the Background. I had ancestors on both sides of that war and I honor my heritage from both the North and the South. Needless to say they both got booted from the groups for violating group rules (no posts about politics) and intolerance.
Then, today, in a 3D Sci-Fi Rendering group another one popped up (yeah, he's a lib, through and through) and went after me over my latest rendered image, "The Enterprise Incident", He said that my lighting an
Do not come here, to my page, and blurt out nonsense.
Do not pop up with, "I don't get your reasoning..."
Do not try to tell me that something is also known as something else and then argue with me...
I really don't have time for these kinds of "discussions".
If you see something you like, fine.
If you see something you don't like or don't understand, then do the adult thing and just keep scrolling...
If you don't. You will get called out, possibly labeled a troll and be blocked!
I just don't have time for Bullshit!
Well... Looks like standing up for my rights as an artist has struck a nerve...
After the art theft fiasco last month in some of the Star Trek Groups on FB (and having told that person that stole my work to not do so again, to which he had seemed agreeable) It happened again... same guy (H.Leland Frame). So I called him out publicly for stealing other peoples artwork. The administrators in the groups have been pretty good about at and have told him to take down the photo-manipulated pieces.
Someone, who has only one friend on FB who identifies themselves as 'DV Archer II' posted this in one of the groups,
"Looks to me lik
