I live in a rural area with my wife. We have started a small hobby farm for ourselves with chickens, geese, ducks, quail, and goats. I am a bagpiper and play for various functions. I also enjoy model building, science fiction / fantasy books and movies, renaissance and pirate faires, studying and teaching history, photography, and being creative. The rest is just mundane stuff and I endeavor to be as non-mundane as I can.
