Godzilla Portrait

I am not really sure whether this should be considered digital or traditional art! It was done by scanning in a drawing I did, which I then used photoshop to do the basic color on. I then printed it on a matte finish paper and used prismacolor pencils on it for the details. I then had to scan it in again to clean up the color. So it has been in an out of the computer a time or two.

This piece was published in the subscriber centerfold of G-Fan magazine, (issue 72, released June/July 2005) which is a fan-zine about Godzilla and other Japanese monsters (aka Kaiju.)

It's my take on the more recent versions of Godzilla.
