Fixed Fusion Monsters: Cyber-Saurus 2.0

Description

Here’s the fifth picture of the second wave of the Fixing Fusion Monsters series, which also happens to be the fifteenth one overall. This time, it’s the updated Fusion of Two-Headed King Rex and Blast Juggler, called Cyber-Saurus 2.0. I named this Fusion monster Cyber-Saurus 2.0 because, in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, anime, and card game, there is an actual Fusion monster named Cyber-Saurus. However, just like several of the Fusion monsters I’ve been fixing so far in this series, this cybernetic dinosaur was quite disappointing—at least in terms of being an actual Fusion monster—since it dropped several key elements in both design and theme. Thus, I had to give a much-needed overhaul to this cybernetic-looking dino in order for it to be much more faithful to the two monsters used to create it.

The original Cyber-Saurus was a massive green-skinned, spiked T-Rex with a cybernetic cannon for a left arm, a metallic left foot, and machinery around its teeth. While it was indeed a Machine-type monster in the form of a dinosaur with robotic parts, it only had a single big head instead of two like Two-Headed King Rex, lacked the wings and horns, and had green scaly skin instead of purple like this two-headed dino. And while it did have machine parts, none of them had anything to do with Blast Juggler, as they lacked many—if not all—of the elements from that Machine monster.

Although I agree with the idea of a two-headed winged dinosaur and a living bomb forming a deadly cybernetic dinosaur, and I liked that premise despite the flaws I previously mentioned, this Fusion monster clearly needed several tweaks and improvements to truly look like an actual merging of its two fusees. Just like the 2.0 version of Labyrinth Tank that I did a couple of weeks ago, this isn’t a complete redesign, as it’s basically still the same Fusion monster, but now with all the physical attributes and visual elements of Two-Headed King Rex and Blast Juggler incorporated into the design. As a matter of fact, the only thing I struggled with was the overall base of the body of this new cybernetic dinosaur, since I originally had no idea what the structure of this creature should look like until I settled on RizeGreymon from the Digimon franchise. This high-tech, winged dinosaur became a major inspiration for the chest, left arm, wings, tail, and the left head, which I’ll explain shortly.

The new Cyber-Saurus, also known as Cyber-Saurus 2.0, is now a clear visual combination of the two fusees used to make it, in a way extremely similar to the numerous Megazords from Power Rangers as well as the gigantic robots from Gurren Lagann, namely the main titular robot. That robot inspired much of the coloration of the metallic armored skin seen on the top of the left hand, the right lower jaw, the chest, wings, and right shoulder pad. The only element from the original Cyber-Saurus that I kept for this redesign was the robotic left arm shaped like a huge cannon, as it already worked well in both design and colors. Everything else needed to be overhauled for this cybernetic dinosaur to truly look like an actual Fusion. As a result, this updated Fusion monster is now a two-headed dinosaur with three horns located on each head, big sharp wings on its back, a metallic chest made from the same material as the rest of the red parts, a high-tech cannon that is extremely destructive, a yellow clock located in the middle of the chest to indicate how powerful the next blast from the cannon will be, and a wire running throughout the tail that ends in a thick metallic ball.

The physical parts seen throughout the body of this cybernetic dino are the physical size, body, purple scaly skin, wings, legs, right clawed arm, tail, yellow claws and horns, the heads, and both eyes in the right head from Two-Headed King Rex; the clock, the blue wire running through the tail with the heavy metallic ball at the end, the red, yellow, and gray parts composing the chest and wings, and the green eyes in the left head from Blast Juggler; as well as the cannon left arm from the original Cyber-Saurus, which I previously explained. However, I didn’t want both heads of this robotic dino to look the same, as that would have felt quite boring, so I came up with new ways to make them more distinct. For the right head, I gave it a red metallic jaw, and for the left head, I added a red metallic helmet on top, similar to the one seen on RizeGreymon, but with fully mechanical eyes designed to scan areas and see through various dark places.

Born from the fusion of Two-Headed King Rex, the ruthless ruler of prehistoric predators, and Blast Juggler, a living arsenal of cybernetic warfare, Cyber-Saurus 2.0 stands as the undisputed king of cybernetic dinosaurs. This colossal mechanical beast combines raw primal dominance with advanced technological destruction, turning it into a walking weapon of mass extinction. Cyber-Saurus 2.0 possesses two fearsome heads inherited from Two-Headed King Rex, now enhanced with a reinforced mechanical skull on the left head and a metallic lower jaw on the right head. These cybernetic upgrades drastically increase their biting speed, crushing force, and durability, allowing them to tear through armor, steel, and even heavily fortified structures with ease. The left head’s glowing green cyber-eye, a direct gift from Blast Juggler’s advanced systems, constantly analyzes enemies, scanning their strengths, weaknesses, and battle patterns while detecting prey, threats, and movement even through darkness or solid obstacles. His massive body is laced with cybernetic implants that push his physical abilities far beyond natural limits. Despite his enormous size, Cyber-Saurus 2.0 can charge across the ground at the speed of sound, while his razor-edged mechanical wings allow him to take to the skies at blinding speeds, slicing through enemies and objects alike as he passes. These wings serve not only as tools of flight but also as lethal weapons capable of shredding entire battalions in seconds. Replacing one of his arms is a devastating energy cannon, forged from Blast Juggler’s weapon systems, capable of firing concentrated blasts powerful enough to incinerate targets into nothing but smoldering debris. His tail ends in a massive metallic wrecking ball, which he slams into the ground to create destructive shockwaves and earthquakes, or swings with brutal force to demolish buildings, vehicles, and even other colossal creatures. Combining the savage instincts, territorial dominance, and raw power of Two-Headed King Rex with the cold precision, weaponry, and tactical intelligence of Blast Juggler, Cyber-Saurus 2.0 is more than a monster — he is a perfectly engineered war king. Any who dare challenge him will quickly learn that neither flesh nor steel stands a chance against the apex of cybernetic evolution. The new Cyber-Saurus has all the stats of the original.
