In a certain sense, I like to think of my latest publications as the spiritual successors to The Blind Date and The Embrace. There's one big piece that's mostly talking and character interactions with a small bit of action in the latter half, and there's a shorter piece that's a more straightforward fight story. What I hadn't counted on was their size; if counted as a single project, then they are the most I've written by word count since Boxing on the Beach, and just barely edging out A View in the Penthouse. A lot of different threads and ideas have converged to form these two stories, and I feel like there's a lot to be said about all of them. I'll spend the rest of my time here outlining my thoughts on Las Vegas' inner workings in the current form it's taken on in my world building. I'd previously provided an overview of Los Angeles in The Yacht Brawl and its accompanying journal piece, so I think it offers a very interesting contrast. In Las Vegas, a casino functions as the fundamental unit of

I'm thinking of making a more concerted effort to catalog my work by character and/or fight type. But how? A dedicated index page? DA tags? Character labels?
