In a certain sense, I like to think of my latest publications as the spiritual successors to The Blind Date and The Embrace. There's one big piece that's mostly talking and character interactions with a small bit of action in the latter half, and there's a shorter piece that's a more straightforward fight story. What I hadn't counted on was their size; if counted as a single project, then they are the most I've written by word count since Boxing on the Beach, and just barely edging out A View in the Penthouse. A lot of different threads and ideas have converged to form these two stories, and I feel like there's a lot to be said about all of them.
As a character, Helen has been around for nearly as long as Erica and Ari.
