ACEO - Ship to Shore by drachenmagier ACEO - Ship to Shore by drachenmagier
ACEO-Trade with *Meliadhor
I guess it was high time I finished that one~

Double ACEO (12.8x8.9)
Traditional Media on Mixed Media Paper
Markers, color pencils, fineliners and a bit of acrylics were used.

Couldn't stop thinking of the track with the same name while drawing on it. d: ( [link] )

Actually, it's two cards. :D So much detail on a single ACEO would require way too thin tips of pencils. I couldn't do that. But thank you very much for the compliments! :D

I try to leave comment critiques, but I just don't have the time anymore. So, since I've put these off long enough, I'll just comment on them.

Commencing comment program:

I love how you did the water and the shading/highlights are exquisite!

Hi, neighbor, in this case. :D

Thank you very much for the compliments and the watch. =^^=

In this drawing I used the acrylics mostly for the white parts, like the waves or the shine on the metallic parts. ^^

Oh, I didn't know you did that normally. And that's another thing. It's virtually seamless. It doesn't look like it was done on two cards. I think I can see a thin line going through the clouds and the sails of the ship, but that's it. I don't see the line extending below the sails. I didn't even notice that line at all the first time I looked at it. Everything else about it distracted me. XD

Jup, the line is in the middle, right through the ship. I haven't cut the paper apart so far though. The one the card is for wished for it to stay in one piece. ^^

Because they are ACEO. Those normally come in the size of 6.4x8.9cm. ^^

Oh, alright. Well, if you didn't cut it apart, then what's the line in the middle from? I'm a little confused now. O.o
