Restored Axe by DracconiaN Restored Axe by DracconiaN
I bought this severaly rusted out axe at a secondhand shop and restored by hand.
It was hard hard hard work and you will only know how hard it is if you have done it yourself.
Its an old gränsfors axe that had been laying outside for probably 30 years or so i had to resort to use a powerdrill witha sanding bit and white vinagear to beat the rust but it was mainly done by hand.
The handle is oiled hickory the original was a steel tube and plastic composite mixture that had to bee drilled out and deformed and then sawed off and driven out with a sledge hammer.
