A sort of thin chain suddenly appeared out of nowhere, connecting Karen's bracelets and started to pull them closer together. The girl tried to resist but the chain became shorter and shorter. As a last resort she placed her foot in the middle of the chain and pulled with all her strength only managing to slow the process a bit.

Julia was too busy struggling with her kimono so she failed to notice the mask diving on her until it slapped onto her face. She quickly grabbed it and tried to remove but felt how it's quickly attaches itself to it. Busy with her struggles she didn't notice the moment the chain similar to Karen's appeared and connected her hands, but now her glance fell on it...

Ann finally managed to stand up and maintain balance in her new footwear although with some difficulties. She managed to notice the attacking mask just in time and was quick enough to catch it. But the power that controlled the mask was strong enough to overpower Ann and it continued to get closer and closer to it's target bending Ann's hands in elbows. The girl exerted all her strength and tried to turn her head way, tears appearing in her eyes from a mix of effort, terror and anticipation. A pair of bracelets snapped around her wrists, breaking her concentration and making the task for the mask a little bit easier...

A wooden circle appeared behind Ann and she, forced to make a lot of steps to balance in her geta , is about to make a step back, stepping on it.
