Thanks a lot!
The first year when i was using Ps my ideas were + or - zero......and my works really limited........In + or - 7 years i have collected tons of images...and so my personal database is giant! indeed the other difference between: beginners - intermediate - masters is the proportions of your database.....more its big and more you'll be powerfull!
Actually i have got tons of ideas and i can add multiple details not because im a monster but because my database give me all freedom necessary to give the life to + or - all my ideas!

To come back to this work, first or after, id like come back to create works with few things because they are so so so more relaxing and funny!! and of course a work can be powerfull even using few things!

You used the words look awesome togheter......i spend lot of time back tones.
The way is only one:
curves + exposure end of the story.....learn these 2 adjustment layers is the key to do natural works! lot of people use only curves........WRONG!! Curves and exposure are 2 things completely differents....the first control contrast and second how say the name the exposure. You can't work without them!
but not only the most of people use 100000 adjustment layers!!! Wrong! In this way the work at the end will be all completely destroyed.....because Adjustment.L goes to destroy tonal pixel of the image!!!!!!!
Take a look how many A.L i use for each image: sta.sh/0hygodejrc8 -- sta.sh/01w9gsdwia96

of course if the image require work on colors (in general): colors balance + selective colors + vibrant

I'm impressed! I know almost nothing about PS... If someday I'll buy a computer and PS, I would like to take your lessons;) I make manipulations just last 1,5 years, for my own pleasure:) I'm not a professional artist, I even never learned to draw...

Why on earth have I missed this? You have created a beautiful tranquil scene with a child and that is the first thing I love about it. The overall scene is magic, although as a child I walked 500 miles away around a cemetery, sooo scary. Now I find them fascinated and can spend hours taking pictures of angels hahaha.
The autumn leaves puzzle me a little however that autumn tree could be behind the corner. Did you practice with that saddle? Good job!
Yes, and the fog on top of the house. It is sinking in slowly what to look for and that is not easy, to me it looks beautiful and that is what it is all about. I love your work very much my friend.Heart Heart Heart

thx u very much Petra :soothe: V2

No tree behind the corner :D only a poetic license and relaxing work because i can't work with 70 or 100 resources everytime OMG LOOK AT THAT   In reality the leaves with those orange-yellow are important to capture the attention and enhance a bit the wind sensation indeed the fur of the horse seem in moving....in any case a simple effect.
About the saddle i used 3 pieces of those 2 saddle to reduce the problem relative to the perspective ---->sta.sh/0yj2xdo106q This is important because i hate use transformation tool because is destructive.....well of course if u use it just a bit, no problem. Sometimes i see the use of that tool so wrong....this happen because if a subject got a side perspective is impossible change his perspective into a frontal perspective....doing this mean destroy completely the image:D

The best concept in this work is relative to "the cut off"....indeed to save time i don't cut + or - ever completely the subject or object......this is so so so important because the scene will be more natural without heavy visible cut off....In the past this was a big problem for me.   When i search resources, i search them to help me when
cropping :horny:

I admire the way you look at your work, great eye for detail etc.
New chapter......cut off? I go the old fashion way, just sit and with a hard brush, 80 percent, start to get rid of unwanted details.
I suppose there are many ways, also with masking. That will be a very personal way of working I suppose......

One more thing, I LOVED the way you did that girls face, brilliant work........Heart Heart Heart

thx u very much Bunny Emoji-25 (Listening to music) [V2]

yes the way is personal....and of course sometimes is necessary use a soft brush.....each shot has different lives for this reason don't exist an universal tutorial.....impossible! for this reason, understood all the main concepts...the way to learn is completely personal!!

I didn't touch the girls face

Ahhh i understood now :giggle: Yes that image is not abused! :D Why second you? The answer is simple

1) because the most of people, watching that grass, think that image is impossible to be cut off.
2) because people when see an image like that.....think...wow im not able to cut off completely the girl

All this is normal because that image require an advanced cut off and knowledge of certain concepts! In this case the problem cannot be solved but can be bypassed....wow, to learn the way
to bypass problems like this were been so hard because is necessary to break the standard schemes! for example like in this specific case, the standard schemes...subject = cut off all the subject don't work......so u must break that scheme and find another way.
to learn these, there aren't tutorials.....you can learn all these, only with a long personal
practice....u know, in these works, only doing 10000 mistakes is possible go forward for real. Here on DA there are only ufficial works.......but u can imagine that i got a lot of works created in all these years....most of them completely failed....and for this reason precious works because thanks to them im able to do something of good today! I think u know for example this ----> sta.sh/02ff9l9eba9t watch for example the fog on those tentacles :D haha i can remember so well my  immense personal problems

I'm great, Luke, I miss my old days here soooo much... I remember when I used to submit one piece per week.... Oh my.......
Well, my study is hard, but I believe that until the end of this year I will have a finished painted artwork (the entire scene and character), BUT I still don't know how it will be and if I don't like the result, I will never submit here!!! :D
