It has been something of a big gap since I last posted a blog entry for this page - apologies.
Please to see more members joining and sharing their love of the Doctor Who Big Finish series.
Woefully, I must admit to not yet listening to the 8th Doctors new outputs, but am looking forward to it. It was also great to see the 'new' look 8th Doctor on the cover of Doctor Who Magazine too. It'll be wonderful to see more Paul McGann images as the newer 8th Doctor.
I'm currently trying to complete a personal challenge of reading all 73 Eighth Doctor Adventure's (or EDA's for short) BBC Novels. They are wonderful, but it is taking me forever! I think I started this challenge in 2010 and I'm only up to Dreamstone Moon. The best so far has been 'Vampire Science' and 'Legacy of the Daleks'. Some have been really glacial in pace and so hard to finish. The Eight Doctors was actually pretty disappointing, for me anyway. It felt like an oppertunity wasted in my view.
Is anyone else doing anything exciting for the 50th anniversary this year? Anyone hoping to see one of the Classic Doctors come onto TV in the coming year? If so, let me know in the comments below!
Looking forward to hearing more Doctor Who Big Finish audio drama's and I hope you are too. They are so fantastically well done in terms, of acting, production and writing - I often find myself horrified that what we see on screen at times doesn't compare with how brilliant the audios are.
best wishes you wonderful Whovians and please - keep posting your art and fanficcery based on the characters that have cropped up in the Big Finish series (i.e. Classic Who) and actual interpretations of scenes in the series! Everything is so wonderful and I love looking at each and every one of them.
