Westara The Dragon Scorceress by DPRagan Westara The Dragon Scorceress by DPRagan
Westara "Tara" Brightwind: Illuskan Draconic Sorcerer (Level 1) Chaotic Good: Earns a living as a dancer and show mage. Born Lander "Land" Brightwind and is a Copper Descendant. Speaks Common Draconic and Illuskan (Dancer/Tumbler)

Note: Might change the Illuskan language back to Dwarven Still debating since most humans use Common-tongue

Is there a Faerûn font for Common-tongue?

BTW this image is to show her in her regular clothes.

Her choices in gear:

Simple Weapon (Tomahawk Axe her right hip)
Spell Focus (Crystal Orb-mesh bag for quick access, her left hip)
Explorers backpack
Drum(Entertainer Background)
2 Knives...where they are is none of your business ;p

Rofl. I love that D&D 5E lets you chose really weird Warlock Patrons. :D

I sort of like the concept (which I don't remember actually being in the rules, but I think is) of a Warlock stealing power from a Parton who doesn't even know they exist (or at least, the warlock hopes they don't know.)

I really like the idea of a LG Warlock whose "patron" is a Demon (who are CE) he's stealing power from.  "And as long as I use primarily on the Devils, they don't seem to care."

I'm not sure it's in the rules either, but I don't think there is any reason why a player couldn't write it into their background, as a GM it would be great for story purposes. I could have lots of fun with a character like that.

The LG/CE thing isn't too far off from the concept of Erin M Evan's: "Brimstone Angels" - "Farideh" novels. Fari is a female Tiefling who stumbles into a Warlock pact while trying to save her more rambunctious twin sister from a botched devil-summoning ritual. I think Fari counts closer to CG, which would make a CG character with a pact with an LE devil and desperately trying to figure out how to use her powers to promote freedom and good while avoiding getting corrupted. slushlush.com/books-stories/   -  forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki… - they are much-recommended reading if you like Tieflings, Warlocks, and characters who are frequently caught up in emotional and moral quandaries.

Hah. I was actually thinking more about "The big H" who in first ed AD&D had a 25% chance to show up every time you said his name, and that would be very very bad. Which is why my character won't ever say WHO she works for.

Thought that at first, then I just used the idea of Trick Traps from the Dungeon Master Manual where contact with an object can randomly change gender species and alignment and the Copper Dragon had scads of them throughout his lair.

I like the costume design. Of course I'm wondering what colors it would come in. I think that about 5 mins into her first long march she'll be wishing she picked a lighter instrument. :D

Looks good. Don't know anything about D&D silk, I'd assume that Eastern Silk-Worm Silk would probably be cheaper than Drow Spider Silk, but also probably not as tough. Dunno if their is anything "official" anymore. 5E has just barely gotten out on the shelves so it's not like we can realistically expect them to have put out huge amounts of that sort of "fluff" for it. Me, I'm still wondering what-ever happened to the Glass-steel spell? The one that turned metal transparent? Imagine the applications that crazy people like us could use that for? "My Full-Plate Of Speed is INVISIBLE!" :D

Gnomes are in the main book, just in the expanded races section I believe. I am assuming your comment means you didn't see them rather than something else that isn't dawning on me. I know that there was a lot of hubbub when 4E PHB1 came out with no Gnomes - but that was pretty understandable to me. They aren't quite Halflings and they aren't quite Dwarves, so what role do they really fill? And how do we make them interesting without just making them another flavor of the first two? In the end I think that taking the extra time to think it over was the best decision.

Ahhhhh, so far I don't think that the Halflings are getting much love in that direction either. Not sure on the Tieflings either. I know that the Dragonborn have some sort of remnant of their ancient empire around, but the Tieflings returned in force and just got scattered around in the aftermath of the (second) Sundering as far as I know. I don't even think the Dwarves have their own kingdom or anything. The Elves? They goofed up "the world" with the original Sundering and then went and hid in Evermeet or what-ever, and then came back.

drum is pretty hollow, and lighter than most instruments (Drum is listed as 3lbs)  It's mostly bulky

Yeah I'm throwing an off-guess on that. My musically-inclined characters usually use harps and flutes, though I like the rhythm of drums myself. There are many good reasons why the Handy Haversack is the first magic item most of my Bards go for. :)

Yeah those instruments can get bulky.

BTW I settled on her second costume (probably reducing her starting gold by 5 to 10) Yellow with black markings :)

Blame www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvSlmr… but the markings are different.
