My COVID Rollercoaster - DAY 19-ish
Deviation Actions

Hey guys, I'm back with a final update regarding my COVID adventure.
Since my last post I've been able to get out of the house doing mostly the necessary shopping routine and meeting people only outside with the mask on. I'm still coughing from time to time but not that bad. I think it's getting better. My energy level is pretty normal even though I can't sleep that well. Many of the victims says they have insomnias and I'm not sure if it's related to the anxiety or there are some neurological issues due to the infection.
In the meantime I've tested my COVID antibodies level and the IgG value turned out to be just 2.610 which is rather small but it should increase over time offering me some kind of temporary immunity. Regardless, I'm still waiting eagerly for the damn vaccine and hopefully it will get here rather sooner than later, before this monster can take more victims.
Finally, I want to thank you guys for supporting me all this time and I really hope that next year will bring us back some of the normal things we had before, now that the vaccine will start rolling out.
I wish you and your loved ones to be safe and hopefully you can enjoy these Winter Holidays.
Merry & Safe Christmas guys!

Thanks, Allan! As always, your thoughts mean a lot to me
Hope and faith are pretty scarce these days and we can all use some. And speaking of hope, here's an interesting book I've started reading a few days ago Everything Is F*cked: A Book About Hope.

Thank you for the kind words! I really appreciate your care
I'll definitely be fine but what worries me the most is how careless people are during this time of the year. I mean, it's a full blown pandemic and the Malls and Supermarkets are filled with people. It's like everyone has gone shopping crazy! And we'll most likely see the results in January when the number of infections will explode. So I'm pretty worried about the people around me.
Anyway, have a Safe and Merry Christmas!

That's! In my country, everyone seems has forgotten that the pandemic isn't over yet... I have been in isolation too in my office for 2 weeks because one of my colleague was infected and sent to the hospital. This is crazy. People become more individualist...
...
Yo! have a safe and merry christmas too!

I totally know what you mean! I'm glad I'm not th only one noticing this behavior.
For some, the pandemic turned out to show the worst of us and empathy seems to be really scarce lately.
I'm sure it wasn't easy for you to spend two weeks at the office in isolation as well.
Hopefully 2021 will turn out to be a better year.
