Of course, it didn't help that I dropped my email account, and I couldn't get a password through it, and I put it off and put it off until now.

Typical me.  Okay, so here's the deal. Not much will make it up on the site this year, but next year, when I a couple of distractions out of the way, things will change. I'll start to get artwork back up here. Mostly to promote a comic by my brother and I.

I can't believe this!  Almost a whole freakin' year has gone by since my last journal entry.  What have I been up to?  Well, between computer crashes, computer crashes again, and internet problems galore, I've just been merrily updating my Flying Ferret website.  I've got another kid on the way (the last).

Not much to say.  Working on some game art for a friend.  Hopefully, I'll have that up in time. I want to try some different methods than I usually use to create it.  I don't think I've tapped the full potential of Photoshop or my pen tablet.  No, not by a long shot.

Okay, see you in another year...hahahaha!

I could not be more pleased.  After a complete new face for my website, www.flyingferret.com, and adding not only a theme for my character and an animation for it as well, but a game to boot!!  How cool is that?  Really has made my day, and with the new weekly schedule, I can draw at my leisure and not disappoint my fans again (poor people had to wait 3 to 5 months sometimes between each "issue" of the Flying Ferret).

Back on track, new attitude, new schedule, now I can improve the art and life is good.... and I can work on other projects, too.

I know just about everybody is going to comment on it, but I might as well, too.  I can not forget that day.  I can not forget how it changed us, and how it SHOULD have changed us.  There are people out there to destroy us.  People who hate our way of life. There is no appeasing them, not means of staving them off.  It is up to our troops to take them down.  I know that will not set well with a lot of you. I will not apologize for my opinion.

I saw what happened.  You saw what happened. To deny anything else is pure delusional wishful thinking or fantasy on your part.  There is no government conspiracy.  You just have to accept the fact that there are evil people in the world.  If you can't.  Then only pity for you.

It's true, youth is wasted on the young.  When I was young, I just can't believe the time I wasted.  Time that could've been spent perfecting my art... okay, maybe not perfecting it, but making it better.

Even now I find myself wasting time, even though I have kids, a job, and so many other responsibilities.  I'm such a freak about Star Wars that I've had to ween myself from all the forums I've joined just to get some time back in my life.  It's nice to get that time, but then it seems like things "move in" to take that time back over.

Anyway, today is my 11th anniversary with my wonderful wife.  We'll be going to a production of "Same Time Next Year" and eating out.  I don't get to spend much time alone with her nowadays.  So, I'm looking forward to it.

I drew the "Guy from Hellbound" picture last night.  It was the first time in about 13-14 years that I used Gouache.  Heck, can't remember the last time I used watercolor.  But, I found it enjoyable even though I had no choice but to use a cruddy brush.  Now, I'll have to buy some more since I'd like to do more paintings.

I'm suppose to draw some art for my website animation (someone else is doing it for me, but someday, I'll be making my own), and I owe two other people some RPG character drawings, which I've put off for quite a while now.

With all of my computer problems, it's been difficult to do that.

Speaking of Star Wars fanaticism.  I've gained a re-interest in continuing my  adaptation of George Lucas's early scripts for Star Wars.  It's called "Battle for the Galaxy" and located in a section on Flying Ferret.  It's up to three parts right now, and so much more to go.  If I ever finish, I presume to continue the series by taking bits and pieces of another Star Wars draft, and then after that I just may make up one whole "episode" on my own.    It'll be updated weekly like Flying Ferret will.

Of course, I've got to get all of these obligations out of the way.
