Astute readers who needlessly retain years-old stories of mine might possibly recognize the name Miranda.  This story is set in the same universe as If All Else Fails, where inflation is very much a practical tool, so I suppose you could call this a quasi-sequel.  I don't often dwell on my own characters after putting a story out there, but Miranda, Richelle, and Jessi have taken up a decent amount of space (get it?!?) in my fetish brain ever since.

Anyway, it seems the captain of that ill-fated flight did indeed make a full recovery, although she's made a bit of a career change since we last saw her.  Might we find out how things ended up for Richelle and Jessi?  I haven't decided yet!  Will Vanessa be even happier in her new job?  Wait another five years and see!
