Captain Howdy, do you think my mother is pretty?

did you hear poloroid has a new digital camera that immediately prints just like oldschool ones? The new school ones are horizontal compositions and kinda goofy looking, not sure if I like them yet.

there's way more truth to their article than devART wants to believe. face it, deviantART is full of sucky artists and I'm able to say I am one of them. Even with the "critique" function I have yet to even see a decent critique worth anyone's time, let alone receive such a critique. People here tend to hold onto their art as if it's something precious. One of the first things I learned when I went to college is to treat my work as if it's not worth anything. The sad fact is, it's not. The majority of deviations submitted here are not actually worth anything both monetarily and artistically, myself included. It's a great idea...but I feel it's become a bit of a MySpace if you catch my drift.

Granted, that's what you sign up for. I don't take this site as a serious place for serious artists, whereas ConceptArt.org is a very serious arena for serious artists. devART is more of a fun place where I don't take anything that anyone says seriously, including myself. Not that anyone cares or anything.
if I had a nickel every time someone said that...

thanks.
