Thoughts about water 2.14 by DorottyaS Thoughts about water 2.14 by DorottyaS
In the world there is nothing more submissive and weak than water. Yet for attacking that which is hard and strong nothing can surpass it.
- Lao Tzu

My week was about two things: finishing my exams and worrying about the flooding Danube.

On Monday, I went back to Budapest. I spent my whole day learning so I was really happy to meet some people in the dorm, and I could talk about how much I hate macroeconomics.

I had two exams on Tuesday. First, macroeconomics, it was an oral exam, I got a pretty good topic, I talked about the economic growth. (I worried a lot that I will get something about inflation, but I was really lucky this time :)) And our teacher is one of the kindest in the school so I got "excellent" on this exam. You can't imagine how happy I was :) I called my boyfriend to tell him then I went back to the dorm, visited my friends Robi and Tomi and talked a little about exams and school stuffs... It's weird to think about that we won't meet to much in the next few months because I won't be too much at Budapest and we all live in different cities. And I don't know what will happen if I don't get in the dorm the next year... Anyway, after we talked I went back to my room because I still wanted to learn a little to my last exam which was in the afternoon. It was business ethics and it wasn't too hard (and I got "excellent" later :D). After the exam, I talked with two of my schoolmates and they both wished me nice summer holiday when they left. It sounded so weird but after a little time, I became more and more happy because I really finished one year at college and Summer is coming and I get my freedom back :)
So when I arrived to my boyfriend's flat, I was in a really good mood. We went shopping together and we had dinner, and I started to feel a little tired (I haven't slept too well the night before the exam), so I went to sleep early, and it was so calming to know that he is with me :)

The next day, I slept as much as I could, and woke up late. We had breakfast with Peti, and then I left him and went to a bookstore. I bought the Fault in Our Stars because I was really curious about John Green's books. I left Budapest in the afternoon and I read the book on the train.
And may you know that there is a serious flood in many countries in Europe. My hometown in next to the Danube, so we also had to prepare that the water level will rise. The train passes by the Danube so when I went home I saw a lot of soldiers who were building a dam of sandbags.
In the evening, some of my friends who lives in other areas asked me how I could go home, and I answered that there was no problem. But I actually had a little fear because I knew that I should live our home when something bad happens and the sandbag dam won't be strong enough. It’s a little hard when you have to pack in a few of your belongings into a back pack. I've never really think about that what are the most important thing for me, or what I would need the most if I should leave our home. Also, I heard a lot of gossip about what will happen, and it made me angry, because this flood thing was scary enough, I didn't need more things to worry about.

The next day I went back to Budapest because I had to give some papers to one of my teachers, but he wasn't there. It made me a little angry because I woke up early and travelled two hours for almost nothing. I met Peti anyway, we had lunch together then we went to our favorite coffee shop.

I finished my book on Friday and it was a really sad story but happy and funny at the same time. I cried twice and I laughed a lot, and this book made me think about how lucky I am :) I haven't done anything important that day. I started to do some sport again, because I feel that my body really need some work out. I don't think I'm fat or something, but I want to be a little stronger (I'm so weak that I can't open most of the mineral water bottles... :D) and I think that some moving can help me to feel better :)
Peti came home in the evening and we went to check how high the water level at the Danube is.

On Saturday, I visited all my grandparents :) It was really good to see them and I know that they are always happy when I visit them.
In the late afternoon I went to meet Peti's new puppy. His (the dog's) name is Hektor, and he really cute but only because he's small, because he will be a really big dog :D See some picture of him there: neveletlenlulu.tumblr.com/post…

The next day, Danube finally started to become lower. It made me really glad :) Anyway, this was our anniversary with Peti. This was our second year together and I'm sure we will spend more amazing time together. :) We didn't have too much time to celebrate because he's still busy wit his exams, but he gave me beautiful roses and some chocolate and I made dinner for us :)

Sooo, this was my week :) How are you guys?
