I know usually my posts are meaningless and for something really fucking stupid... but right now I could use the support of this community. My grandmother's in hospice right now... she's not doing well at all and I fear that losing her is just around the corner. Whatever you believe in, whether it's prayer or just simply thinking of me or my grandmom or whatever, I could really use it. I went through a period of time before either of my grandfathers had passed away so I know what it's like to see someone deteriorate before dying. I also know what sudden loss is after my mom's heart attack in 2009. And honestly all those same feelings from before are catching up. I know you all have a lot on your plates or you're usually busy, but if you find the time, just spend a few moments of silence thinking about all your own loved ones. Passed or living. Because all too often we take for granted someone's life without realizing their mortality. I'm sure there's plenty of you also going through a rough patch with a loved ones health. So my thoughts and prayers to you all as well.
