Description
The Meues-Argonne Offensive (WW1) was the most deadliest battle in american history with 26,000 dead and 95,000 wounded. During 47 day battle, an american battalion of about 550 soldiers were lost in the Argonne Forest. They were outnumbered, surrounded from all sides, and suffered heavy casualties, but 194 of them were rescued.
