The "final" page from "In the Day of Battle". I finished this one up and then the publisher insisted that there needed to be a page showing Satan's return. I drew such a page, but this caused me to start reading up on the various views of Revelation. I will not be posting the page because it is SO out of line with what I believe the Bible teaches that in a way I'm actually relieved that this story was never published (at least not with the editorial slant given by the publisher at the last minute).

The original of this page (which is among my favorites from the story) was donated to the Dina Babbitt auction. I was one of the 450 cartoonists who signed the letter supporting her ownership of the artwork held by the Auschwitz Holocaust Museum. While I agree that people need to be made aware of the horrors of the Holocaust--Dina Babbitt should have had her work returned to her by the Museum. As a Christian, I gladly sided with the rights of this Jewish woman to retain ownership of her artwork--no matter the circumstances it was created under.
