Originally drawn several years back for an homage collection of "Pulp" style illustrations--the black and white illo was never used by the publisher. So I went back to Photoshop, combined the pencil scan with the inked line art and began adding color to enhance the piece. I'm still pleased with the result, particularly the shading on the figure (that's the result of playing with the scan of the pencil art). It's subtle, old-school Sci-fi.

Thanks, I am most pleased with my gesture work lately.  It's all part of telling the story, and body language does so much to move it along.

Really glad to hear you say so, really enjoying that subtle gradient from top to bottom as well. The only thing I might warn you about is watching out for tangent lines but you seem to be doing just fine with that as well haha.
